Naomi Koh Belic

Naomi is an active researcher and a science communicator. She is currently completing her PhD at the University of Technology Sydney, the same institute that she previously graduated from with a Bachelor of Biotechnology, First Class Honours.

Her research revolves around the proteomic characterisation of adipose stem cells, their ability to undergo neuronal differentiation, and utilisation of these cells to model multiple sclerosis.

 
 
 
 

Naomi is a passionate science communicator, she hosted 5 episodes of SCIENCEY with ABC Science, featured as a biology expert on all 10 episodes of Dr Karl’s Outrageous Acts of Science with Discovery Channel, and competed in the National finals of FameLab 2017.
